Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or participating in any challenge on FPLMOTW, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Service Description

FPLMOTW is a fan-made companion app that allows Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers to:

  • Join weekly "Manager of the Week" (MOTW) challenges
  • Compete using their official FPL team
  • Receive payouts if they win
  • View public and private leagues
  • Track stats, scores, and previous winners

FPLMOTW is not affiliated with the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to participate
  • You must have a valid PayPal account to receive payouts
  • Your account may be suspended if we detect fraud or abuse

4. Entry Fees

  • Each MOTW challenge requires an entry fee displayed on the card
  • Payment is handled through PayPal
  • Entry is confirmed only once payment is successfully completed
  • If you do not pay, your team is not included in that week's challenge

5. "Could Have Won" Tag

If your FPL team scores high but you didn't pay for that Gameweek, your team may appear with a "Could've Won" tag for transparency and engagement.

This tag has no financial rights.

6. Team ID Rules

To prevent fraud:

  • You must connect your official FPL Team ID
  • First connection is free
  • Changing your Team ID later requires paying a Team Update Fee
  • You cannot change your team ID after entering a Gameweek

7. Scoring & Results

  • All scores are taken from official FPL final data after all updates and corrections
  • Results are final once posted
  • Only paid entrants are ranked in payout positions

8. Payouts

  • Winner(s) are paid within seven (7) days after official FPL finalization
  • Payouts are sent to the same PayPal you used to pay
  • A platform fee (10%) is automatically deducted
  • Incorrect payment details may delay payout

9. Refund Policy

Refunds are only issued if:

  • The Gameweek is canceled by us
  • A technical failure occurs before matches start
  • Duplicate payments happen

No refunds after games begin.

10. Platform Fee

FPLMOTW keeps a 10% platform fee on all prize pools.

This covers:

  • Hosting
  • Development
  • Maintenance
  • Operations
  • Marketing
  • Salaries

The rest goes to the winner(s).

11. Fraud & Cheating

You may not:

  • Use multiple accounts
  • Register someone else's FPL team
  • Manipulate FPL team data
  • Enter with a cloned or fake team

Any suspicious activity results in instant disqualification and possible account removal.

12. API Usage Notice

FPLMOTW uses publicly available data from the official FPL API. We do NOT modify, alter, or tamper with data.

13. Liability Limitations

FPLMOTW is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by PayPal
  • FPL data errors
  • Internet issues
  • Losses caused by your team decisions
  • Missing Gameweeks due to your failure to pay on time

You use this platform at your own risk.

14. Not Gambling

FPLMOTW is not a betting platform. It is a skill-based competition using Fantasy Premier League scores. Prizes come from entry fees, not odds.

15. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Break these terms
  • Attempt fraud
  • Harass other users
  • Use the platform for illegal purposes

We reserve the right to refuse service.

16. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated. Continued use of FPLMOTW means you accept the updated terms.
